Former X Factor Judge Guilty Of Assault
Singer Tulisa Contostavlos has been found guilty of assaulting a man at a festival last year.
The former N-Dubz star hit Savvas Morganat the V Festival in Chelmsford in August last year.
She was fined £200 at Stratford Magistrates' Court.
Her former assistant, Gareth Varey, was cleared of using threatening behaviour.

Dave Lee Travis is to be re-tried on a charge of indecent assault and sexual assault. Earlier this month the 68-year-old former Radio 1 DJ was found not guilty on 12 counts of indecent assault but the jury was unable to reach a verdict on two other charges.

Former boy band star Lee Ryan has been charged in connection with an attack on a taxi driver. The 24-year-old former Blue singer has been accused of assaulting the man in Oxted, Surrey, after a minor traffic accident on New Year's Eve.

Two people have been arrested in connection with possession of two military assault rifles. The Metropolitan Police Special Projects Team supported by armed officers yesterday seized the weapons which have the capability of firing from a distance of up to 460 meters away.

Teen To Serve At Least 20 Years For Murdering Teacher
A teenage boy who admitted murdering Leeds schoolteacher Ann Maguire, 61, is to serve a minimum of 20 years in prison. The 16-year-old, who cannot be named, stabbed Mrs Maguire to death in a classroom at Corpus Christi Catholic College in Halton Moor on 28 April. At the court this morning he issued a former guilty plea to the murder charge.
