Police Find Missing Teen's Bag
A rucksack belonging to a girl, 14, who has been missing for a week has been discovered beside the River Brent in west London.
Alice Gross from Hanwell was last seen on Thursday, 28 August.
CCTV footage shows her walking along the Grand Union Canal tow path at Brentford Lock.
She was later filmed walking towards her house at 3.45pm.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Chalmers, from the Metropolitan Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "A week on since Alice was last seen by her family we are becoming increasing worried about her welfare and safety as each day passes.
"Her disappearance is out of character and this investigation continues to be a priority for us.
"Alice has been missing for a considerable period of time and her family are desperate to have her back home where she belongs."
She is described as white, 5ft 2in in height, of slim build with light brown hair.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Sussex Police Appeal For Two Missing People
Sussex Police have issued appeals for two missing people. Police are concerned for the welfare of 15-year-old Abigail Beach, who has been missing from her home since Friday. The teenager was last seen at 1am on Friday (17 July) but officers have been unable to get in touch with her to confirm that she is ok.

Hampshire Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old schoolgirl has been found "safe and well". The teenager from Southhampton was last seen on Saturday on the Isle of Wight. She is said to have been in the company of a man. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, police have said.
