Man Who Threatened Woman With A Knife Shot Dead By Police
A man, who broke into a house in London and threatened a woman with a knife, has been shot dead by police.
Officers attended an incident at a property in Islington at around 11pm on Thursday. It is believed that the man and woman knew each other.
The woman was not harmed, however she is being treated for shock, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The man was treated at the scene but died on the way to hospital.

Man And Woman Shot Dead In Walsall
A man and a woman have died in a shooting at a house in the West Midlands. The 43-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were found by ambulance crews called to Laneside Gardens, Walsall, shortly after 01:30 BST. "Despite the best efforts of medical staff, both the man and woman died at the scene," a police spokesman said.

Police have named the 44-year-old woman killed in Saundersfoot. Kim Butler was found dead at a property in Pennant Avenue in Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire in the early hours of Wednesday morning. A post mortem by a Home Office pathologist conducted yesterday afternoon revealed that Ms Butler died of multiple stab wounds.

A woman and two children were found dead at a property on Woodgrange Close, north-west London on Thursday evening.
