Merseyside Police Appeal Over RTC

Merseyside Police has appealed for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Netherton on the evening of Monday 8 September.

Emergency Services were called to Northern Perimeter Road at about 20:50 following reports that an off-road Yamaha motor bike had collided with a car.

Officers attended at the scene and found two men, who had been on the off-road bike, with serious injuries.

The men, believed to be in their 20s, were taken to hospital for treatment. Both their conditions are described as critical at this time.

Wigan Police Car Windscreen Smashed

Police in Wigan have appealed for witnesses after the windscreen of a police car was smashed.

Officers from the Wigan East Neighbourhood Policing team (NPT) were responding to a complaint on the Hag Fold Estate in Atherton at around 16:00 on 8 September when they were informed that their vehicle had been damaged.

The officers discovered that its windscreen had been smashed, but found no sign of the offender nor the implement that had been used.

West Yorkshire Police Launch Appeal Over Missing Boy

West Yorkshire Police have launched an fresh appeal to find those responsible for the death of a Keighley boy who died in a fire in his home in 2009.

Damian Clough, who was 12, died at the property in Kinara Close on 4 April 2009.

At the time, two teenagers were charged with Damian's manslaughter but the case against them subsequently collapsed at court.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Superintendent Nick Wallen, said: "Damian's family have had to live with the tragic loss of their son every day for more than five years now. They are still deeply upset by his death and as yet have not got the justice they deserve. That is why I am again appealing to anyone to come forward with any information they might have which could assist our investigation.

Man Missing In Sandwell

Police in Sandwell have appealed to the public over a missing man who might be in Worcestershire.

Lyndon Ross left his home in Moorlands Court, Rowley Regis, at 13:30 on 8 September saying he was going for a walk in the Clent Hills.

The 39-year-old has not been seen since and his family are concerned about his welfare.

He is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall, of a slim build with short, brown hair. When he went missing, he was wearing a white t-shirt, blue three-quarter length jeans, a grey hooded top and was carrying a black Nike rucksack.

Anyone who sees Lyndon is asked to contact police immediately on 101 or alternatively, the charity Missing People can be called on 116 000.

Appeal For Missing 59-Year-Old Autistic Man
Police in Westminster have appealed for help to trace 59-year-old Douglas Cameron who has been missing since Monday. Mr Cameron, originally from the Isle of Wight, was last seen on Monday, 19 October, at 12:30hrs at Oxford Circus train station. He was on the Victoria line towards Walthamstow Central.

Police Appeal For Missing 16-Year-Old
West Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal for help tracing 16-year-old Simran Mehrose, who has gone missing in Bradford. Simran was last seen at about 20:40 on Thursday night on Birch Avenue, West Bowling. She is described as being Asian with a light complexion, 5ft 4ins tall, slim, with long black straight hair and brown eyes.

Police in Bradford have appeal for information on the whereabouts of 13-year-old Jamilah Patel. Bradford District CID are searching for the teenager who was reported missing from her home on Wheatlands Avenue at about 23:40 on Tuesday night.

Newcastle Police Appeal For Help Tracing Two Missing People
Police in Newcastle have appealed for the public's help in tracing two missing people. 63-year-old MaryAnn Cook has been missing since Tuesday 09 June, when she was last seen leaving her home in Oakfield Gardens. It is known that Ms Cook travelled by taxi to Central Station, but she failed to return home and has not been seen since.

Appeal Issued For Missing Carlisle Woman
Police in West Lothian are appealing for help in tracing 26-year-old Lauren McNee, who has been missing since Tuesday. Ms McNee was last seen at her home on Langrigg Road, in Carlisle, at around 18:00 on April 21. She is described as being around 5'4" tall, with a slim build and a scar on her left eyebrow.
