CCTV Images Released Of Manchester 'One Punch' Death Suspects

Police investigating the death of a man in Manchester have released CCTV images of two men wanted in connection with the death.

On 31 August Michael Carter (49), from Salford, got into an argument with two men over football on King Street West at about 03:10.

He was punched and fell to the ground hitting his head on the pavement. He died on 10th September.

Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. The images where taken at about 01:50 on 31st August outside the Revolution Bar in Southgate.

Police say that they believed Mr Carter was punched once during or after an argument causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head.

One of the men is described as white, approximately 6ft tall and of slim build.

The second man is described as possibly Asian/mixed race, 5ft 7in tall, with black hair and of medium build.

Police have urged the men, or anyone who recognises them, to contact police or Crimestoppers.

Three Questioned Over Nursery Child Porn Investigation
A woman and two men have been arrested in Nottinghamshire in relation to a child abuse investigation. The 39-year-old female is being questioned on suspicion of child sexual assault and possessing and distributing indecent child images. Two men, both in their 20s, were also arrested on Wednesday morning.

CCTV Images Released In Pub Attack Appeal
Police in Surrey have released CCTV images of three men they wish to question after a man was punched to the ground in a violent attack. According to officers, the 21-year-old victim - who also had glasses smashed over his head in the attack - suffered serious head injuries after the assault in the Priory in Bell Street, Reigate.
