More Than 20 Bristol Attacks Could Be Connected To Anarchist Groups
Police in Bristol say that more than 20 crimes across the city in the past years could be linked to anarchist groups.
It is understood that a number of separate anarchist groups have claimed responsibility for up to 24 arson attacks across the city – one fire destroyed a police firearms training centre, others targeted councillors' cars and a radio transmitter.
It is understood that the groups, which appear to be acting independently and with no central leadership, claimed responsibility for the attacks in a number of blog posts.
In a report by the BBC, Bristol Police say that the crimes are being treated as criminal damage and are not being categorised as terrorism.

A group calling itself Angry Foxes Cell posted on the Bristol Indymedia website that its members had targeted the under construction site at the Black Rock centre in Portishead.
