Counter-Terrorism Policing Review Suspended
The increased security threat level has been cited as the reason Home Secretary Theresa May has suspended plans to review counter-terrorism policing.
The review was intended to look at whether the National Crime Agency (NCA) should assume responsibility for counter-terrorism policing.
The Home Secretary had announced the review following a recommendation by the Home Affairs Committee.
However, Mrs May has announced that there are currently no plans to conduct the review, and that any such measure would not happen until after the general election.
