Appeal For Witnesses Following Brighton Collision
Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash on Bear Road in Brighton, in which three people were injured.
Emergency services were called after a blue Subaru collided with a wall near to the junction with Tenentry Down Road around 3.15am on Monday.
The 19-year-old male driver from Brighton and his 19-year-old male passenger suffered serious injuries and are currently being treated in the Royal Sussex County Hospital. A 19-year-old man from Brighton, also a passenger, suffered minor injuries but did not attend hospital.
Paintings Stolen From A House In Slough
Thames Valley Police is appealing for information to locate three paintings which were stolen from a house in Slough.
Three antique paintings belonging to a woman in her seventies and a man in his eighties were taken from a house at some point between March and June this year.
The victims, who both have dementia, noticed that the stolen paintings had been replaced with other paintings hung in their place.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the police.
HTC Plant Crane Drivers Vote For Strike Action
HTC Plant crane drivers have voted for strike action following a pay dispute.
The crane drivers, who are members of construction union UCATT, voted 94.6% in favour of industrial action short of strike action.
UCATT is now in consultation with its activists at the company and the exact dates and nature of the industrial action will be announced by the end of the week.
Steve Murphy, General Secretary of construction union UCATT, said: "This result is so emphatic that there is no doubt that within days key construction sites will grind to a halt."
Major construction contractors who will be affected by the industrial action include: Kier, Lend Lease, Bam, Costain, Mace and Vinci.

Four days of strike action to hit BBC
Broadcasting unions have named May 23 as the first of four days of strike action against cuts and privatisation at the BBC. Representatives of Bectu, the NUJ and Amicus, meeting in London on the day after a decisive vote for industrial action by members, called for a 24-hour stoppage, from midnight to midnight.

Network Rail in High Court bid to halt strike
Network Rail has applied to the High Court for an injunction against strike action by rail workers proceeding next week. The Rail and Maritime Transport (RMT) union is to hold a 24-hour strike on Tuesday June 29 and Wednesday June 30, over a failure to reach agreement on pensions.

New dispute has erupted at the Post Office, with managers now announcing that they will take their first industrial action in 34 years. Representing 900 Post Office managers, the Unite unions said that a 24 hour industrial action will be taken on Friday, with a ban on overtime and work to rule.
