Man Found Guilty Of 1993 Claire Tiltman Murder

A 46-year-old man has been found guilty of the 1993 murder of teenager Claire Tiltman.

Ms Tiltman was found dead in an alleyway in Greenhithe. She had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Colin Ash-Smith, already serving three life sentences for attacks on two women in the area that Ms Tiltman was found, was arrested in February in connection with her death.

A jury at Inner London Crown Court took three hours to find Ash-Smith guilty of the teenager's murder.
