Teens Charged Over East London Murder
Two teenagers are to be charged with the murder of a 17-year-old in east London on 6 January.
Two boys, aged 14 and 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are due to appear before Stratford Youth Court in connection with the murder of Jeremie Malenge.
It is understood that Malenge, from Hackney, had spoken to police around an hour before he was found dead on Homerton High Street last week.
A post-mortem examination found that the teenager had died from a stab wound to the chest.
Police said that the Independent Police Complaints Commission is carrying out an investigation into their contact with the victim prior to his death.

British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.

Woman And Children Found Dead In Stoke-on Trent
An investigation is underway following the discovery of the bodies of a woman and two children at a house in Stoke-on-Trent. Police say they made the discovery after being called to an address in Sherwin Road at about 18:35 on Sunday. A woman and two children were pronounced dead at the scene. No details of the victims have yet been released.

Ex-boyfriend arrested in Hayley murder investigation
The main suspect in the Hayley Richards murder investigation has been arrested, Wiltshire police have announced. Hugo Quintas, Hayley’s former boyfriend, was arrested in the Basque region of Spain this morning by local police officers. He is currently being held at a police station in Northern Spain.

Four arrested in car crash murder investigation
Four people have been arrested in Reading following the discovery of a man found dead in a car which had collided with a tree. Three men aged 23, 27 and 42 and a woman aged 44 are currently being held in custody at Reading police station.
