Police Search For Seven Men Over Racist Chanting

Police investigating alleged racist chanting by Chelsea supporters returning to St Pancras from Paris have appealed for information on seven men.

It is understood that a member of the public reported racist chanting by a number of people, believed to be football supporters returning from a Chelsea game in Paris last week.

A police statement reads: "The men shouted as they walked through the station having alighted from the train a short time earlier."

Police are urging anyone with any information on the incident to contact them.

Police investigating racist and homophobic chants at a football match have today released pictures of 16 suspects. The investigation follows abuse aimed at Portsmouth's Sol Campbell during a game against Tottenham Hotspurs at Fratton Park on 28 September. The released images show 16 people caught on camera by an officer at Portsmouth's ground.

Summonses Issued For Five Men Over Paris Metro Incident
The Metropolitan Police have issued summonses in connection with racist chanting on the Paris Metro ahead of a Chelsea game in February. It is understood the summonses are related to a police application for football banning orders. The men are required to appear before Waltham Forest Magistrates' Court on 25 March.

UK Police To Review Footage Of 'Racist' Chelsea Fans In Paris
UK police are reviewing video footage that allegedly shows Chelsea FC fans in Paris stopping a black man from boarding a train. The footage shows the man approaching the train doors however fans blocked him from boarding.

On 3 May, Kent Police began a search for Michael Wheatley, 55, who had failed to return to HMP Standford Hill after being released on temporary licence.
