Summonses Issued For Five Men Over Paris Metro Incident

The Metropolitan Police have issued summonses in connection with racist chanting on the Paris Metro ahead of a Chelsea game in February.

It is understood the summonses are related to a police application for football banning orders.

The men are required to appear before Waltham Forest Magistrates' Court on 25 March.

Man Found Dead In Nottingham Alleyway
A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was found seriously injured in an alleyway in Nottingham city centre. Bernard Langton, of Bulwell, was discovered near the Pitcher and Piano pub in Nottingham's Lace Market area early on Monday.

Al Fayed Denies Child Assault Claims
Harrods boss Mohamed al Fayed has vehemently denied a newspaper report alleging he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl, after voluntarily speaking to police. Mr al Fayed was questioned 'under caution' for 30 minutes, at a London police station yesterday, during which he denied the Sun newspaper's claims.

UK police are reviewing video footage that allegedly shows Chelsea FC fans in Paris stopping a black man from boarding a train. The footage shows the man approaching the train doors however fans blocked him from boarding.

Paris Deaths Never Suspicious: Police
It was all an accident, according to the French police investigating the car crash that killed Diana, Princess of Wales, and Dodi Fayed. Officers have told the London Inquest into the deaths that it was never once suggested the events were anything other than a tragic accident.
