Man Arrested Over Kieran McGrath Murder

Detectives investigating the death of a man outside a police station in Greater Manchester have arrested three men.

Kieran McGrath, 26, was shot outside the Sheldon Arms pub on 04 October last year. He then drove himself to Ashton-under-Lyne police station and collapsed outside its door.

He died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Police investigating the death have arrested three men, aged 18, 30 and 32, on suspicion of possession of firearms.

Police have said the investigation is ongoing.

Three Men Arrested Over PC Death
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of an off-duty police officer in Greater Manchester. 28-year-old PC Gareth Francis was attacked after getting out of a taxi in Edgeley in Stockport around 01.20 am on Sunday morning. He died of a head injury a short time later at Stepping Hill hospital.
