Man Wanted Over Knife Attack On Brothers

Wiltshire Police are hunting a man wanted in connection with a knife attack on 16-year-old twin brothers.

It is understood the brothers were attacked following a party at Dilton Marsh, near Westbury, at about 23:00 on Saturday.

One of the brothers remains in a stable but serious condition in hospital. Police said he had been left "just a couple of millimetres from death".

The attacker is described as being aged between 20 and 30, 5ft 8in tall, with short black hair.

Police are calling for anyone who witnessed the attack to contact them.

Det Insp Paul Franklin, said: "One of the brothers was slashed across the chest and is lucky to be alive because the knife wound was so deep it was close to his heart."

Police question two schoolboys following pupil's death
It has emerged that two 14-year-old pupils at a school in Greater Manchester where 15-year-old David Sandham died yesterday will be questioned by police. The victim was involved in a fight and apparently died of a heart attack on his way to Trafford General Hospital shortly after 1pm.

Man found dead following reports of shooting
Police are investigating shootings in south Wales which left a man dead and two men injured. Gwent Police said that they had been called to a report of a shooting in Usk View, Govilon, Abergavenny around 2:50pm on Sunday. Two men, believed to be brothers, aged 17 and 20, were found in the garden of a house.
