North Wales Police Investigate Child Approach At Supermarket

North Wales Police have launched an investigation after a child was approached by a man outside a supermarket in Llandudno on Saturday.

It is understood that the 8-year-old boy was walking from the Asda store when a man, wearing black trousers, a black walking type jacket with a blue trim and a hat, approached him at about 20:00.

It is not known if the man spoke to the child but police said that the boy immediately ran to a nearby car where his grandfather was waiting and the man walked off.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Missing Schoolgirl Found On Isle of Wight
Hampshire Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old schoolgirl has been found "safe and well". The teenager from Southhampton was last seen on Saturday on the Isle of Wight. She is said to have been in the company of a man. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, police have said.

Release Of Police Killer Described As 'Sickening'
The release of a man convicted of killing three unarmed police officers in 1966 has been described as "sickening". Harry Roberts, now aged 78, has been released from prison after serving 48 years for 1966 murders of three unarmed police officers in Shepherd's Bush in west London.
