Teenager Arrested In Syria-Related Terrorism Investigation
An 18-year-old man has been arrested in Stourbridge on suspicion of Syria related terrorism offences.
Officers from West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit arrested the teenager at his home in Lye, seizing computer equipment, on Thursday.
Police said that the operation was "pre-planned and intelligence led" and that there is no immediate threat to public safety.
The teenager was arrested on suspicion of preparing for terrorist acts, contrary to Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
He has been released on bail pending further investigation.

Man Arrested On Terrorism Offences
A man has been arrested in Luton on suspicion of fundraising and inciting terrorism overseas, it has been reported. The Metropolitan Police said the 35-year-old has been taken into custody in London. Searches are now being carried out at three properties; two are in east London and the third is in Luton.

Five Charged With Syria-Related Terrorism Offences
Two men and three women are to appear before Westminster Magistrates Court charged with Syria-related terrorism offences. The men Ayman Shaukat, aged 27 of Pargetter Street, and Alex Nash, aged 21 of Bentley Road, were arrested last Tuesday, 09 June, along with Nash's wife, Yousma Jan aged 20, also of Bentley Road.

25-Year-Old Woman Arrested In Syria-Related Investigation
Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman in Bedfordshire on suspicion of "preparation of terrorist acts". It is understood that the arrest was made as part of an ongoing investigation "related to Syria", police said. Two addresses in Bedfordshire are being searched as part of the same operation.

Officers from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) arrested the 24-year-old man, from the Palmer Park area of Reading, and 23-year-old woman, from Earley in Wokingham, at about 19:30 on Thursday 28 May.
