Post-Mortem To Be Carried Out After Suspected Drug Death

A man suspected of taking an ecstasy-type substance has died at a hospital in Buckinghamshire.

Police have named the deceased as 17-year-old Toby Fairclough.

The victim suffered a medical condition at playing fields in North Marston shortly after 12.30am on 23 May.

Emergency services attended the scene and the boy was taken to Stoke Mandeville hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A post-mortem examination due to be carried out.

Det Insp Brendan Murray said: "Late on Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday morning, we believe that Toby digested a substance which he believed to be the illegal drug MDMA.

"A post-mortem examination is scheduled to be carried out next week, which will include toxicology and histology tests."

A post-mortem is to be carried out today on the body of a man who is believed to have murdered school girl Alice Gross. It is understood Latvian builder Arnis Zalkalns was found hanged in woods at Boston Manor Park on Saturday. The body is scheduled for a post-mortem at Fulham Mortuary this afternoon.

Jersey Stabbings Suspect 'Named'
The man suspected of killing six people, including his wife and children, in Jersey at the weekend has been named locally as Damian Rzeszowski. The 30-year-old has been arrested in connection with the stabbings and remains in Jersey General Hospital, under police guard, after receiving emergency surgery.
