Two Collisions At Same Scene In Northumberland

Police have appealed for witnesses following two separate collisions at the same spot in Seaton Deleval, Northumberland, on Thursday night.

It is understood that a car left the A192 at about 22:05 last night. As police responded to the incident a second car is said to have also crashed at the same scene at about 22:45.

Police said that no one was seriously injured in either crash.

The road remains closed from the Leverock Hall Roundabout and the Keel Row pub to allow for recovery and cleansing of road.

Three Killed In Lincolnshire Road Crash
Lincolnshire Police have reported the deaths of three men in a road crash. Police said the men were killed when a Renault Clio crashed head on with a Vauxhall Astra at about 19:00 on Thursday on the Hogsthorpe Road in Chapel St Leonards.

Money stolen in Securitas van raid
Police have launched an investigation after a Securitas van was robbed by a gang in Cheshire last night. The robbery happened in the Woolston area of Warrington on Wednesday night around 8:15pm. A Securitas security van, on route to a delivery, had been travelling behind a Volvo flatbed truck.

Girl, Six, Bitten By Police Dog
A six-year-old girl has been bitten by a police dog in Manchester, it has been reported. It is understood the officers were chasing a suspect at the time of the incident. Police were pursuing a man who was running away after a stolen car crashed into a wall in the Newton Heath area of the city.

Two 14-Year-Old Boys Charged With Manslaughter
Two 14-year-old boys have been charged with manslaughter following the death of a 41-year-old father-of-two in Leicester. Ponnuthurai Nimalaraja, known as Nimal, was assaulted at the junction of Gypsy Lane and Northfield Road shortly after 23:00 on 9 June. Mr Nimalaraja died in hospital on 16 June, one week after being attacked.
