Concerns Over Missing Girl From Mansfield
Police have renewed an appeal for information for missing 13-year-old Amber Peat from Mansfield.
Amber went missing from her home in Bosworth Street at around 5.30pm on Saturday (30 May). She is understood to have left home without money or a mobile phone.
Detectives are carrying out searches in the local area and have said they believe she is still in the Mansfield area.
Amber is described as white, with long dark brown hair and of petite build (around 4ft). She also has a tiny scar above her lip.
When last seen, she was wearing a black Puma zip up top, purple trainers and blue jeans.
Kirsty Gittings, Missing Persons Co-ordinator, Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Amber, if you are reading this appeal please get in touch with us or your parents. They are very worried about you."
Anyone with information on Amber's whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Strong Winds Expected Across England And Scotland

Police Launch Appeal After Farm Raid Leaves Woman Dead
Police have launched an investigation into an botched diesel theft in a County Durham farm that has left a mother dead and her son badly injured. Shortly after 8.30pm last night, William Dove and his wife Rosemary returned to their home at East House Farm, Bishop Middeham, following an outing to an agricultural show in Scotland.

Body Found In Hunt For Missing Amber Peat
Police searching for a teenager who had been missing for three days have confirmed a body has been found. Amber Peat, 13, was last seen at her home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, on Saturday. Formal identification of the body is still to take place, but police have said the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Wales Weather Warning Upgraded To Amber
The Met Office has upgraded its weather warning to amber for western parts of Wales. The forecaster said that severe gales and gusts of up to 75mph are expected in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd, Pembrokeshire and Swansea. The amber warning advises people to "be prepared".
