Girl Arrested Following Stabbing Incident
A 15-year-old girl has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Reading.
The girl was arrested after a 16-year-old boy was hurt in Gainsborough Road on 7 June.
The boy was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police arrested the girl on suspicion of GBH with intent.
Detective Inspector Mark Spencer said: "I would like to reassure the local community that we believe this is an isolated incident.
"We are investigating the circumstances fully."
Police are appealing for witnesses.

Teenager arrested over girl's rape
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 13-year-old girl in Greater Manchester. Greater Manchester Police said that the boy went to a police station shortly before midnight on Tuesday night. The girl was attacked on May 29, after she left a bus travelling between Manchester city centre and Urmston.

Police Release Arrested Man Vehicle Picture In Missing Girl Search
Dyfed-Powys Police have released a picture of a blue Land Rover Discovery belonging to a man who has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of April Jones. She was last seen by another child near her home in the Bryn Y Gog estate in Machynlleth, mid Wales, at around 7pm on Monday.

Eight Men Arrested Following Dawn Raids
Over 100 police officers have carried out a series of raids concerning child sexual exploitation offences in Oxford. Eight men were arrested following the raids at 6am this morning 2 June. Police are investigating approximately 60 offences in connection with the operation relating to female victims in Oxford between 1999 and 2007.

French Police Arrest Convicted On-The-Run Rapist
A 56-year-old convicted rapist who went on the run before his trial has been captured in France. Police in Calais arrested George Doulat, from Filey, North Yorkshire, on Monday. In his absence, Doulat was convicted at Bradford Crown Court for the rape, attempted rape and sexual assault of a 19-year-old woman in 2012. He was sentenced to 10 years.
