Renewed Appeal For Missing Newcastle Woman
Police have renewed an appeal for information on the whereabouts of 63-year-old Maryam Cook.
Maryam, from Newcastle, was last seen leaving her home address on Oakfield Gardens, on Tuesday 09, June, between 12pm and 1pm.
The 63-year-old got into a taxi which dropped her off near Central Station. However she failed to return home and has not been seen since.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for her whereabouts and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her.
Maryam is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build with grey hair normally worn in a bun.
When last seen she was wearing black trousers, a grey or black and white top and had a black handbag. She was also possibly carrying a small corduroy overnight bag with autumn flowers on it.

Appeal Issued For Missing 12-Year-Old
Police have appealed for help in tracing 12-year-old Casey Rooney, who has been missing for over a week. The child was last seen at home on Sunday 18 October. He has gone missing before, however not for this length of time, police said. Officers believe Casey has been with older friends.

Baby Snatch Attempt Foiled By Mother
A mother has successfully fought off a man and a woman who attempted to snatch her baby daughter from her pram in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Shortly after 8pm on Sunday 12 August 2007, the 30-year-old mother was pushing a pram with her four-month-old daughter along Wigan Road, close to the Hulme Road junction.

Sussex Police Appeal For Information On Missing Teenagers
Sussex Police have appealed for information on the whereabouts of teenagers, Anh Tuan Tran and Hai Mank Nguyen. 16-year-old Anh Tuan was last seen in Bexhill on Sea on Tuesday afternoon around 14:30. And 17-year-old Hai Mank was last seen in Heathfield around 16:00 on Wednesday and is believed to be trying to meet his sister in London.

Police are appealing for assistance in tracing a 12-year-old girl who went missing in New Addington on Friday afternoon. Tia Sharp was last seen leaving her grandmother's home in New Addington at around 12.00hrs (midday) on Friday 3 August. Tia said she was going to the Whitgift Centre in Croydon town centre.

Public Warned 'Not To Approach' Mental Health Escapee
Police are warning the public not to approach a patient who fled from Homerton mental health facility on Saturday. Anthony Knowles, 48, disappeared from the Jon Howard Centre in Homerton. Knowles is described as 5ft 8 inches with a "noticeable limp". He has tattoos on both arms and a scar on his left eyelid.
