Appeal Issued For Missing 12-Year-Old

Police have appealed for help in tracing 12-year-old Casey Rooney, who has been missing for over a week.

The child was last seen at home on Sunday 18 October. He has gone missing before, however not for this length of time, police said.

Officers believe Casey has been with older friends. He had stated on social media that he planned to return home on Friday, but he has not done so.

Casey is described as a light-skinned black boy with freckles on his face and short, curly hair. He was last seen wearing a dark grey waterproof coat with hood and small Nike logo.

Anyone who may have seen him should call Croydon police on 101.
