Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Police have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident in Wandsworth in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to reports of a car in collision with a bus stop at about 01:15 on Tuesday morning on Balham High Road.
The driver of the car, a 47-year-old man, was treated at the scene by paramedics but was pronounced dead.
Although officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, they said that formal identification has not yet been confirmed.
Anyone who witnessed this incident should contact Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Merton on 020 8 543 5157 or by dialling 101.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a road accident which killed her two-year-old daughter. Police have said that the woman was driving a car which left the road and hit a tree on Gibbins Road, Selly Oak, at about 16:00 on Thursday.

Witnesses Sought Over Fatal Road Accident
Police have appealed for witnesses of a fatal road traffic accident in Hayes, Hillingdon. Two men suffered critical injuries when a motorcycle collided with a car on Lansbury Drive at about 18:28 on Sunday, 27 September. One of the men, believed to be aged 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.
