Police Appeal For Missing Dementia Sufferers
The Metropolitan Police have issued two appeals for help in tracing two elderly people who have been missing since Wednesday.
85-year-old Faiz Alam was last seen by his family at about 23:30 on Wednesday, 09 September, at his home on Daneby Road, Catford.
He is described as Asian, 5'11'', of slim to medium build, with white hair, stubble and a goatee beard.
He suffers from dementia and might be confused, police said.
Anyone who has seen Mr Alam is asked to contact officers at Lewisham via 101.
In a separate appeal, police are asking for help to trace 73-year-old Sandra Hart.
She was last seen at her home on Highbury New Park, Islington, at around 8pm.
She is described as white, 5'1'' tall, of slim build with grey hair. She also wears glasses.
When last seen, she was wearing a red zipped fleece top, a khaki skirt and red shoes. She was carrying a black handbag.
Police added that Sandra also suffers from dementia and might be confused.
Anyone who has seen Sandra is asked to contact officer at Islington via 101.

Police in West Lothian are appealing for help in tracing 26-year-old Lauren McNee, who has been missing since Tuesday. Ms McNee was last seen at her home on Langrigg Road, in Carlisle, at around 18:00 on April 21. She is described as being around 5'4" tall, with a slim build and a scar on her left eyebrow.

Police Hunt For Car Last Seen Twenty Years Ago
Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a classic American car last seen in 1995. The red Ford Mustang was found to have been stolen from a garage on 15 October in Sloansway. The theft was only discovered after the garage was checked by relatives of the owner who passed away in August.

Police are appealing for a man captured on CCTV with a missing 12-year-old girl to contact them. Police said that Evelin Mezei was reported missing by her mother on Monday evening. She was last seen at about 22:30 in Grove Crescent Road, in Stratford, east London.

Hampshire Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old schoolgirl has been found "safe and well". The teenager from Southhampton was last seen on Saturday on the Isle of Wight. She is said to have been in the company of a man. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, police have said.
