Police Concerned For Welfare Of Woman Missing From Hospital

The Metropolitan Police have said that they are increasingly concerned for the welfare of 25-year-old Karina Lukova.

Ms Lukova was last seen at around 17:30 on Thursday, 17 September when she left the Royal London Hospital where she was being treated for a recently suffered stroke and recently diagnosed heart condition.

Her illness is believed to have left her unable to speak and she requires regular medication that she does not have with her.

Karina is Polish and described as white, of average height with shoulder-length mousy-brown coloured hair.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue t-shirt and a dark coat. She may be carrying a blue rucksack.

Karina has no fixed address but is known to frequent the Old Street area. She is not believed to be in possession of money or bank cards or a mobile phone.

TDC Tom Lockwood, from Tower Hamlets Borough CID, said: "We are appealing to the public to be on the look out for Karina and help us in locating her to ensure she continues to receive the medical attention she requires."

Anyone who has seen Karina or who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call police in Tower Hamlets via 101.
