Appeal Issued For Missing 14-Year-Old
Police have appealed for help in tracing missing 14-year-old La'mar Howe, who has been missing for over a week.
The teenager was last seen on Wednesday, 07 October.
He is described as black, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with short black hair.
When last seen, he was wearing a dark blue or black hooded top, either dark tracksuit trousers or blue jeans and black/white Nike trainers.
He was also carrying a Nike black string bag with white writing on it.
Police believe that he may be in the Southend area of Essex.
Anyone who has seen La'mar is asked to contact Croydon Police via 101 or contact the charity Missing People on 116000.

Police are appealing for a man captured on CCTV with a missing 12-year-old girl to contact them. Police said that Evelin Mezei was reported missing by her mother on Monday evening. She was last seen at about 22:30 in Grove Crescent Road, in Stratford, east London.

Baby Snatch Attempt Foiled By Mother
A mother has successfully fought off a man and a woman who attempted to snatch her baby daughter from her pram in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Shortly after 8pm on Sunday 12 August 2007, the 30-year-old mother was pushing a pram with her four-month-old daughter along Wigan Road, close to the Hulme Road junction.

Convicted criminal sought after fleeing hospital
A convicted criminal who escaped from a hospital in Greater Manchester is being sought by police. Christopher McDonagh, 19, from Cheetham Hill, was serving a life sentence for attempted murder at a secure unit at Prestwich Hospital when he was taken to Hope Hospital Accident and Emergency to receive treatment to a wound on his arm.

Police have issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of two teenager girls, believed to be together. Police in Ealing have previously made an appeal for missing 15-year-old Martyna Sienkiewicz and believe that she is now with another missing girl, 16-year-old Alina Turkawka.

Police in Newcastle have appealed for the public's help in tracing two missing people. 63-year-old MaryAnn Cook has been missing since Tuesday 09 June, when she was last seen leaving her home in Oakfield Gardens. It is known that Ms Cook travelled by taxi to Central Station, but she failed to return home and has not been seen since.
