Five Seriously Injured In Bus Crash

Five people have been seriously injured in a collision involving a bus and lorry in Essex.

It is understood that a bus collided with a lorry carrying a steam engine just before 10am on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, a total of 18 people were injured in the incident, five seriously.

A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

South Wales Body Confirmed As Missing Landlord

South Wales Police have confirmed the identity of a body found in the village of Dolwyddelan.

The body has been identified as missing Swansea landlord Alec Warburton.

Mr Warburton, 59, went missing from his home in Sketty on 31 July.

Police said that his death is being treated as murder.

Man Arrested In 2003 Murder Investigation

Police investigating the disappearance of Natalia Doherty in Eastbourne on 15 April 2003, have searched a home in Luton.

Police have been carrying out a search of an address in Icknield Way.

It is understood that a 71-year-old man from Port Glasgow has also been arrested in connection with the case.

Second Man Arrested After Man Is Seriously Injured In Wolverhampton
Police investigating a disturbance outside a Wolverhampton pub that saw a car veer into a crowd of people, leaving one man seriously hurt, have arrested a second man. Officers were called to reports of a disorder outside The Rookery Tavern in Wood Street at 7.30pm Sunday 4th May.

Investigation After Pensioner Found Dead
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of an elderly man in his south west London home. Police were called at about 8.45am on Sunday, 3 May to reports of a man seriously injured at an address in Francis Chichester Way, Battersea. On arrival police discovered a man aged in his 70s suffering from a number of injuries.

Mournes Crash Downs Police Helicopter
The UK's Air Accident Investigation Branch has been informed after four police officers were left injured today when a leased helicopter involved in investigating a fatal weekend crash in the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland overturned.

Police Investigate Elderly Man Found Seriously Injured In Coventry
Police are continuing to investigate after an elderly man was found with serious injuries in Coventry. It is understood that a 75-year-old man was found lying in Binley Road at the junction with Far Gosford Street in Stoke around 10.45pm Friday 25 September.

Four People Killed In Tanker Crash
An investigation has been launched after four people died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a fuel tanker, a car and a van, on the A44 road near Aberystwyth in Wales on Tuesday. An infant was also seriously injured and has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales.
