Two Woman Arrested In Connection With Merseyside PC Murder
Detectives investigating the murder of a police officer in Merseyside have arrested two woman.
The 19-year-old and 34-year-old, both from Wallasey, were arrested yesterday, 06 October.
They were detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Constable Dave Phillips, 34, was killed after being hit by a pick-up vehicle that mounted a central reservation during a pursuit in Wallasey on Monday.
Two men aged 18 and 30 were also arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder.
Police Appeal For Missing Bristol Man
Police are appealing for help in locating a missing man from Bristol.
Jason Carrell, 41, was last seen in the Hartcliffe area of Bristol area on Friday, 02 October.
He's described as white, 5ft 9ins, of slim to medium build, with short dark hair.
He may be wearing dark jeans, a grey hooded top and a black sleeveless bomber jacket.
Police are advising anyone who sees Mr Carrell not to approach him, but to dial 999.
Two Men Arrested Following Robbery In Scottish Borders
Two men have been arrested following a robbery in the Scottish Borders.
The men, aged 53 and 36, have been charged after two woman were assaulted in Bowmont Street, Kelso on 05 October.
The 53-year-old will appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court today, 7 October.
The 36-year-old will appear at court on a later date.
It is understood Police Scotland are continuing investigations to trace a third man in connection with the incident.
Chief Inspector Andy McLean said: "Extensive enquiries were conducted by officers in an effort to trace the suspects as quickly as possible following what was a shocking and distressing incident for those involved."

Eight Men Arrested Following Dawn Raids
Over 100 police officers have carried out a series of raids concerning child sexual exploitation offences in Oxford. Eight men were arrested following the raids at 6am this morning 2 June. Police are investigating approximately 60 offences in connection with the operation relating to female victims in Oxford between 1999 and 2007.

Man Arrested Over Melanie Hall Murder
Police investigating the murder of Melanie Hall have arrested a 39-year-old man. Melanie, 25, from Wiltshire, disappeared in 1996 after a night out at Cadillac's nightclub in Bath. Her remains were found on a slip road near Junction 14 of the M5 in South Gloucestershire last October.

Teenager Arrested Over Rape Of 12-Year-Old Girl
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the rape of 12-year-old girl in east London. Three males lead the girl to a "secluded" end of a street in Walthamstow at around 00:15 on Saturday before two of them attacked her, held her down and raped her.

No Further Action To Be Taken Accused Footballer
Rape allegations made against Newcastle United footballer Loic Remy, have been dropped. Police say that no further action will be taken against the 27-year-old. Remy was arrested last May along with two other men following allegations that a woman had been attacked in west London.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.
