Appeal For Witnesses Of Fatal Collision In Bristol

Avon and Somerset Police have appealed for witnesses to a fatal collision in Bristol.

A 35-year-old man was killed when his mobility scooter was hit by an articulated lorry at about 22:40 on Friday, 09 October in Bristol city centre.

The deceased has been named by police as David Charles Stevens, of Staple Hill, Bristol.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the Horsefair area of Bristol city centre between 22:20 and 22:45 last Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101.

Police Appeal For Missing Bristol DJ
Police are appealing for information after a 73-year-old DJ has been reported missing by his family. Derek Serbell-Morris, also known as 'DJ Derek', was reported missing on 23 July. The 73-year-old is well known in the Bristol community having been a DJ at local bars and clubs for several years. He has also played several sets at Glastonbury.

Police Appeal For Missing Bristol Teenager
Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for help in tracing 16-year-old Rebecca Watts, who has been missing since last Thursday. The teenager was reported missing when she failed to return home in St Georges, Bristol. She is described as approximately 5'4" tall, of slim build with long red hair.

Police Appeal For Man Wanted On Recall To Prison
Avon and Somerset Police have appealed for help in tracing Connor Croker, who is wanted on recall to prison. The 22-year-old was released on licence from prison for robbery and assault, but he has since breached the conditions of his licence and is wanted on recall to serve the remainder of his sentence in prison.

Parent's Appeal To Hit-And-Run Driver
The parents of an 11-year-old boy who was knocked down and killed in a hit-and-run incident have appealed to the woman police are attempting to trace, to give herself up. Sam Riddall was hit by a white Ford Focus on Eastfield Road, Westbury-on-Trym, on 1 May, 9.15pm.

Police Divers Searching Lake For Missing Bristol Teenager
Specialist police divers are searching a lake in St George's Park for missing Bristol teenager, Rebecca Watts. The 16-year-old has been missing for eight days, sparking a major search operation, involving police officers, volunteers and specialist divers and dog teams.
