Police Divers Searching Lake For Missing Bristol Teenager
Specialist police divers are searching a lake in St George's Park for missing Bristol teenager, Rebecca Watts.
The 16-year-old has been missing for eight days, sparking a major search operation, involving police officers, volunteers and specialist divers and dog teams.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the lake was being searched but added it was "routine" and the "no specific intelligence" had been received.
The police also said the head of the force's major crime investigation unit, Det Supt Liz Tunks, has taken over the case.

Police Still Searching For Missing Mother And Son
Police in Leeds have renewed their appeal for help in tracing a 42-year-old woman and her nine-year-old son. Joanne Binns, from Swarcliffe, was last seen at about 15:15 on Monday, 14 September, when she got a taxi to the Hyde Park area of Leeds. She is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, with short brown hair.

Police Searching For Missing Teenager Recover Body
Police searching for a missing teenager have recovered a body from the River Clyde. Police Scotland said that divers recovered a body from the river at Greenock and they believe it is missing 19-year-old Sarah Smith. Ms Smith, from Port Glasgow, was reported missing on Sunday night.
