West Ruislip Stabbing Becomes Murder Investigation

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed in West Ruislip.

Police were called to High Road, Ickenham at 17:35hrs on Monday, 9 November, following reports of a stabbing.

An 18-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to a west London hospital where he later died.

Next of kin have been informed.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with this incident and taken to a west London police station for questioning.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command is investigating and work is continuing to establish a motive for the incident.

A crime scene remains in place. High Road, Ickenham is closed in both directions between West Ruislip Tube Station and Aylsham Drive and are expected to remain closed until at least 12:00hrs on Tuesday, 10 November.

There will be pedestrian access to West Ruislip tube station which remains open.

David West Jnr, 45, of Jermyn Street, was jailed for 13-and-a-half years after he stabbed his 70-year-old father, David West Snr.
