Concerns raised about British holidaymaker in Bali
Concerns have been raised over the fate a British national following the Bali bomb blast on Saturday in which 19 people were killed.
Australian company Tunnel Mining has said that it fears the worst regarding the fate of its British-born founder Colin Zwolinski who was holidaying in the country with his wife Fiona.
However, a formal identification of the victims is not expected to be announced until Thursday when a coroner's report is due to be released.
It was not previously thought that there had been any British fatalities in the bomb attack.
A Foreign Office team are currently checking on the estimated 1,000 British nationals on the island resort.
Earlier this week the Prime Minister condemned the "appalling attacks in Bali," and said that the British Government would help in any way it could.
"Our thoughts are with the victims and their families," said Mr Blair. "President Yudhoyono and I agreed when we met in New York last month on the absolute importance of working together to defeat the scourge of terrorism from which both the UK and Indonesia have suffered so grievously.
"The UK was deeply grateful for and moved by the support and sympathy given by the Indonesian government and people after the attacks in July in London. We stand by Indonesia at this very difficult time."
Mr Blair applauded the Indonesian government's determination to defeat the terrorists and offered "full support to the people of Bali as they recover from another atrocity so soon after the 2002 attack."
Indonesian authorities believe that the bombing was carried out by Jemaah Islamiah, the same militant group thought to be behind the 2002 attacks.
The Foreign Office has set up a helpline for concerned relatives on tel. +44 (0)20 7008 8765.
