Elderly couple and great grandson found dead
An elderly couple and a young boy have been found dead in their home in Blackwood, south Wales.
Patrick Chidgey, 71, his 68-year-old wife, Hazel Gloria Chidgey and their five-year-old great grandson, McCauley Levi Thomas were found in their home in Brynhyryd Street, Pontllanfraith on Tuesday evening.
Gwent Police said that all three were confirmed dead at the scene.
The cause of death is still unknown, although police said that carbon monoxide was present in the house. It is also understood that South Wales Fire Service was called to the address around 2025 BST on Tuesday.
Post mortems are due to take place on Wednesday.
The immediate area has been sealed off while experts inspect the property.
The investigation continues.

Police Investigating If Woman Was Trying To Save Dog When She Was Hit By Train
British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.

Former Stereophonics Drummer Found Dead
Ex Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable has been found dead at his home in south Wales. Emergency services were called to the 40-year-old's house at Llwydcoed near Aberdare, Cynon Valley, at around 5am this morning. South Wales Police said the cause of death has not yet been established, although there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage.

A 30-year-old man arrested in Scotland for a suicide bombing in Stockholm has been charged. The foreign national, who has not been named, was charged with Terrorism offences. Last Tuesday, Strathclyde Police arrested the man following a raid in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow.
