Mother and baby murder - father 'in UK'

A British man whose wife and baby daughter were found murdered in the US is believed to be in the UK.

US detectives have confirmed that Neil Entwistle, 27, is outside the US and that while they have spoken with him, they have declined to reveal any further details.

However, he remains of "high interest" to police, who are also seeking other people to talk to in connection with the murders of Mr Entwistle's wife Rachel and their nine-month-old daughter Lillian.

Reports that Mr Entwistle is in the UK and that US detectives have flown into Heathrow airport have not been confirmed.

The bodies of Mrs Entwistle, 27, and Lillian were discovered in the couple's home in Hopkinton in Massachusetts on Sunday. Mrs Entwistle had been shot through the head, while Lillian had been shot in the body.

According to reports, there was meant to be a dinner party at the house on Saturday, but when guests arrived, the house was in darkness. The bodies were discovered when police were called on Sunday.

Both deaths are being treated as homicides.

There have also been unconfirmed reports that Mr Entwistle was involved in running 'get rich quick' schemes via the Internet.
