Reward offered over Nisha murder

Crimestoppers have offered a £30,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for the murder of special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri.

The 29-year-old died after being stabbed in the leg when she went to investigate a disturbance outside her home in Wembley, north-west London on May 11.

Police believe that Mrs Patel-Nasri may have been stabbed with her own kitchen knife - a John Lewis Evolution stainless steel knife, which is missing from her kitchen and has not yet been found.

Police have been seeking information on two men seen at the scene of the murder in Sudbury Avenue. A black, hooded, man was seen running from the scene, while another man was spotted walking away from the scene moments after Nisha had been stabbed.

Police are also seeking information on two cars seen close to the scene of her murder.

One is an R-reg Rover seen in Charterhouse Avenue, close to Sudbury Avenue, around 25 minutes after Nisha was stabbed. It was spotted shortly afterwards parked on nearby Rugby Avenue with the engine still running. A red saloon-style BMW was parked in front.

Police are also trying to trace a man in a dark sports car who was seen at Atherton Heights, a small cul-de-sac off nearby Bridgewater Road.

Police have still not ruled out a possible connection between the murder and an attempted burglary at Mrs Patel-Nasri's home on May 6.

'The Sun' have also offered a £10,000 reward for information.

Anyone with any information should contact the incident room on: 0208 247 7821 or Crimestoppers on: 0800 555 111.
