Police launch investigation into possible child abduction
Police have launched an investigation into the possible abduction of a 12-year-old girl in the Western Isles.
Molly Campbell, also known as Misbah Iram Ahmed Rana, is believed to have been collected from her school in Stornoway by her eighteen-year-old sister Tahmina on Friday morning.
She is understood to have flown to Glasgow Airport with her sister on Friday.
The pair then flew to Lahore in Pakistan with their father, Sajad Ahmed Rana.
Mr Rana is understood to have visited Stornoway on Thursday, before leaving for Glasgow on the same day.
It is known that Mr Rana lives in Lahore.
However, police also believe that it is possible that Molly could be with relatives in Karachi.
Police are keen to reunite Molly with her mother, Louise Campbell, who is her legal guardian.
Northern Constabulary Chief Inspector Murdo Fraser said: "We will be doing all we can over the coming days to ensure Molly is reunited with her mother as soon as possible."
Police are keen to talk to taxi drivers who may have taken Molly, her sister and her father to the airport or any passengers who were on flights with them.
Molly is described as being 5ft 4in tall, of medium build, with shoulder length dark hair and a sallow complexion.

The mother of a schoolgirl at the centre of an international custody dispute has dropped her claim for full custody, it has been revealed. Louise Campbell had been fighting for custody of her daughter Molly Campbell, now known as Misbah Rana, who left her home in Scotland last year to live with her father in Pakistan.
