Protestor guilty of inciting racial hatred
A man arrested during a protest outside the Danish Embassy has been found guilty of inciting racial hatred.
The rally outside the Danish Embassy in London on February 3 followed the publication of a series of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed in European newspapers.
Mizanur Rahman, 23, was remanded in custody while sentencing is considered.
The jury was unable to reach a verdict on a separate charge of soliciting murder.
The rally in London was attended by around 300 protestors.
The court heard that Rahman had addressed the protest, and referring to British troops, had called for "blood running in the streets of Baghdad."

Man found guilty over Mohammed cartoon protest
A British Muslim who demonstrated against cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed has been found guilty of soliciting murder. The Old Bailey was told Abdul Muhid, 24, from east London, led a series of terrorist chants during the protest in central London on February 3 last year.

A man charged over protests against cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed has been granted bail. Mizanhur Rahman, 23, from Edmonton, north London, was charged with soliciting murder and inciting racial hatred in protests outside the Danish Embassy in London on February 3.

UK cartoon protests 'unacceptable'
Downing Street has condemned the behaviour of some Muslim protestors involved in demonstrations over cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad during the weekend as "completely unacceptable". A statement released by Number 10 said: "The police should have our full support in any action they may wish to take.

'Suicide bomber' protestor arrested
A drug dealer who dressed as a suicide bomber to protest over cartoon depictions of the Prophet Muhammad has been returned to prison today. Bedfordshire Police arrested Omar Khayam, 22, on Tuesday. It has emerged that he is a convicted drug dealer, who was sentenced to six years in prison in 2002 for possessing cocaine and heroin.
