Man charged over stabbing in store
A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder following the stabbing of a female worker at a Leicester shop.
Rina Panchal, 26, from Birstall, was attacked at the TK Maxx store on Barkby Thorpe Lane, Thurmaston, on Wednesday morning.
Mrs Panchal, who had worked at the store for just under a year, was attacked inside the shop and stabbed several times. She died later in hospital.
William Alikori, from Oak Street in Leicester has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court on Friday.

Police Shoot Man Following Stabbing Incident In Hersden
A man has been shot by police after being called to attend an incident in Hersden where a woman was stabbed. Police initially attended the scene at around 11.20pm on Sunday followed by firearms officers and police negotiators. The man and woman, who are members of the same family, are both in a critical condition in hospital.

Three players with the Premiership club Leicester City have been charged with sexual aggression and breaking and entering following an alleged incident at a hotel in Spain. Scotland international Paul Dickov, Northern Ireland international Keith Gillespie, and Frank Sinclair have been told that they will face trial.

Arrests Made Over Fatal Stabbing
Three men have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager in east London earlier this year. Godwin Lawson, a 17-year-old footballer from Enfield, north London, died after he was stabbed in Stamford Hill on 27 March. Two other men, aged 18 and 20, were also stabbed during the incident.

Female worker stabbed in store
A woman who was stabbed at a TK Maxx store in Leicester was an employee, it has been revealed. Rina Panchal, 26, from Birstall, was attacked at the store on Barkby Thorpe Lane, Thurmaston shortly after 8am on Wednesday morning.
