Investigation launched following alleyway rape

Police in Buckinghamshire have launched an investigation after a teenage girl was raped at knifepoint in an alleyway.

The attack happened in the Southcourt area of Aylesbury on Saturday evening. The man forced the 15-year-old into an alleyway between Penn Road and Thame Road and raped her.

The attacker is described as white, about 6ft 2ins tall, aged between 35 - 40, clean-shaven with a big nose and a beer belly. He is also described as having a chiselled face with rounded cheeks with very short grey or brown hair and was wearing a three-quarter length black leather jacket, dark jeans and a zip-up jumper.

He was also riding a basic bike with gears.

Detective Constable Elaine Bartlett from Aylesbury CID said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who has information about this attack, which happened sometime between 8:45pm and 9:45pm last night.

"The victim, who understandably is extremely upset, has told us there was a man in a nearby car who got out and then got back in to the vehicle, as well as a woman who walked past the girl and the offender shortly after the attack.

"In addition, we believe that a nearby resident may have looked out of her window at about the time of the attack and seen the man. I would urge these people to contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on: 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.
