Fourth man arrested over special constable murder

A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the murder of special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri.

The 33-year-old, reported to be Mrs Patel-Nasri's husband Fadi Nasri, was arrested at an address in Wembley, northwest London on Tuesday morning.

Another man, 37, is also being interviewed by police in connection with the murder. He was arrested last December and had been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Mrs Patel-Nasri was stabbed in the leg and bled to death outside her home in Sudbury Avenue in Wembley on May 11 last year.

It is thought that the 29-year-old, who was off-duty at the time of the attack, may have gone outside after hearing a disturbance outside her home.

She and her husband had celebrated their third wedding anniversary on the nght that she died, but he had left the house before the murder took place.

Two men have been charged with Mrs Patel-Nasri's murder. Tony Emmanuel, 41 and Jason Jones, 35, are due to appear at the Old Bailey for a hearing on March 16.
