Four questioned over teenager's stabbing

Police are continuing to question four men who were arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Adam Regis in east London at the weekend.

The four men, all aged in their late teens or early 20s, were arrested on Wednesday.

Earlier that day, a 17-year-old youth, arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder, was released on police bail, pending further inquiries.

Shortly afterwards, three men, aged between 19 and 22, who were arrested on Tuesday evening, were released without charge.

Adam, the nephew of Olympic medal-winning athlete John Regis, was stabbed in the chest and the abdomen at the junction of Boundary Road and Kingsland Road, near West Ham FC's stadium, on Saturday.

A post-mortem found that Adam died of a single stab wound to the chest.
