Six People Questioned Over Hertfordshire Street Shooting

Police are questioning six people in connection with a street shooting in Hertfordshire on Thursday.

Five men - four aged in their twenties and one in his thirties - were arrested following the incident in Boscombe Court in Letchworth Garden City around midday on Thursday. A woman in her thirties was also arrested.

Two men were seriously injured in the shooting and, according to reports, one of them was shot in the face.

Both are being treated in hospital where their conditions are described as serious, but not life-threatening.

Police have said that the shooting was an isolated incident and that they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the shooting.

According to reports, two men were shot in the incident, which is understood to have happened around midday on Thursday. Reports have indicated that one of the men may have been shot in the face.

A 12-year-old boy has died after being shot in the eye with an air rifle. Mitchel Picken, from Baddeley Green, Stoke-on-Trent, died from head injuries on Saturday, two days after he was shot.

Man Arrested After Five-Year-Old Is Injured In Shooting Incident
An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a five-year-old boy. The child was shot and seriously injured at his home in Essex. The boy has been taken to the Royal London Hospital at around 13.20 on Sunday. His injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening.

University gunman was 'disturbed loner'
The gunman who shot dead 32 people at a US college has been described as a loner, whose college work was "disturbing". Cho Seung-Hui, a 23-year-old from South Korea, who had been resident in the US since 1992, was an English student at Virginia Tech who lived on campus.
