Roscommon Murder - Man Questioned
Gardaí are continuing to question an 18-year-old man in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found in Co. Roscommon on Thursday.
The body of Thomas Cunningham, 46, was found in the front garden of a house in Ballinlough on Thursday morning.
A post-mortem revealed that he died as the result of injuries sustained in an assault and a murder investigation was launched.
The 18-year-old who was arrested is being held at Roscommon Garda Station and can be held until 7pm on Friday, when he will either have to charged or released.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who was in Ballinlough between 5pm on Wednesday and 9am on Thursday morning and saw anything suspicious to contact them.

Surrey Murder Suspect Arrested
Police have arrested 38-year-old Viktoras Bruzas on suspicion of murdering a couple in Surrey. The bodies of Patrick and Gillian Kettyle were found at their home in Fetcham in the early hours of Thursday morning. Police had issued an appeal for help in tracing Mr Bruzas in connection with the murders, and had urged the public not to approach him.

Marble Arch Murder Victim Named
Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information following a central London murder. Police were called at around 3.30am on Thursday 21 June, to reports of a body found at Marble Arch. Mark Morrison was pronounced dead at the scene, a post-mortem examination gave cause of death as strangulation.

Man Charged With Road Accident Stabbing Murder
A 34-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Donald Lock in Findon, who was stabbed following a minor traffic accident in Worthing on Thursday, 16 July. Matthew Daley, of St Elmo Road, Worthing, was charged with murder and possession of a knife in a public place.

Suspected London bomber to be returned to UK
A British man wanted for questioning in connection with the failed London bomb attacks on July 21 is to be extradited to the UK within 35 days, an Italian court has ruled. Osman Hussein (27) will appeal the decision to the Italian Supreme court, according to his lawyers.

Police in Manchester have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body on Friday morning. Police say that the body of a 38-year-old man was found outside a property on Otter Drive in Cheetham Hill at about 07:30 this morning. They say that the man had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
