Paedophile Found Guilty Of Rape
A serial paedophile has been found guilty of the rape and attempted rape of an 11-year-old girl.
Anthony Barron, 54, of Wantage, had pleaded guilty to 87 separate sexual offences against at least ten young girls - some as young as three years old - between 1995 and 2006.
The jury at Oxford Crown Court heard how Barron had filmed and photographed some of his attacks.
They heard how Barron had lured his victims to his home to play with toys and games and then bribed them not to reveal what happened with sweets and ice lollies.
Barron is due to be sentenced later on Thursday.

Shabir Ahmed, 59, led a child sex exploitation ring of nine men who targeted vulnerable young girls in the Rochdale and Oldham areas of Greater Manchester.

Paedophile Ian Watkins Jailed For 29 Years
Ian Watkins, former frontman for the band Lost Prophets, has been jailed for a total of 35 years after pleading guilty to 13 child sex offences. In November the 36-year-old from Pontypridd pleaded guilty to 13 child sex offences, including the attempted rape of a baby. He was sentenced to 29 years in prison and six years on licence.

A man has been jailed for eight years for the rape of a young boy at a nursery in Scotland. 30-year-old Mark Maclennan, of Bath, was found guilty of raping the boy, who was aged 3 at the time, at a nursery in the Lochaber area. He was also found guilty of abusing a young girl on numerous occasions when she was aged 12 to 15.

Four Jailed For 70 Years For Child Abuse
Two men and two women have been jailed for a total of 70 years after being found guilty of 49 child sexual abuse and cruelty offences. The group was found guilty following a three month trial, where charges included rape, sexual assault and ABH, carried out against five victims all aged under 13 at the time.

Former DJ Ray Teret, a friend of Jimmy Savile, has been found guilty of raping and indecently assaulting young girls. Teret, from Altrincham, was convicted of seven counts of rape and 11 counts of indecent assault throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
