Police Continue To Question Father Over Boy's Fatal Stabbing
Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a four-year-old boy in Huddersfield at the weekend are continuing to question his father.
Ryan Hawkins died after being stabbed at a house in Royd Street in Slaithwaite around 1pm on Sunday. A post-mortem revealed that he died from multiple stab wounds.
His 14-year-old sister Donna was also taken to the same hospital, suffering from multiple stab wounds. She underwent surgery and is now in a serious, but stable, condition.
Chris Hawkins, 47, was arrested on Sunday night, along with another 30-year-old man. He was released without charge on Monday night.
West Yorkshire Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

Police Shoot Man Following Stabbing Incident In Hersden
A man has been shot by police after being called to attend an incident in Hersden where a woman was stabbed. Police initially attended the scene at around 11.20pm on Sunday followed by firearms officers and police negotiators. The man and woman, who are members of the same family, are both in a critical condition in hospital.

Teenager still held over sister's death
Police are continuing to question a 14-year-old girl in connection with the fatal stabbing of her 16-year-old sister in West Yorkshire. Both girls were found at a house in Ovenden in Halifax suffering from stab wounds on Monday night. Both girls were taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital, but the older girl later died.

Kate Beagley, the Surrey woman who was found dead in woods in Hertfordshire on Monday, was stabbed to death, it has been revealed. A post-mortem revealed that the 32-year-old from Walton-on-Thames died as a result of multiple stab wounds to the neck. Ms Beagley, a sales manager for Centrica, disappeared after going on a date on May 30.

Man Charged With Taxi Murder
A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a mother-of-three in a taxi in Birmingham. 22-year-old Natasha Trevis died shortly before 08:00am on Tuesday in the city's Northfield area after being attacked by her male companion in the taxi they were travelling in. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
