Jurors Visit Princess Death Crash Scene

The inquest jury into the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed has travelled to the actual scene of the fatal crash in central Paris as they continue hearing evidence on the circumstances about the accident that killed them a decade ago.

They also went to the Ritz Hotel where the couple had first dined as well as the hospital the princess was taken to after the car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel.

This 48-hour trip by the 11 jurors to the French capital will effectively retrace the couple's final moments.

The jurors, who may take six months to reach a verdict, are expected to get a clearer understanding of the overall scene of the crash, with, for example, the coroner pointing out how the traffic flow was affected by the timing of traffic lights nearby.
