Funeral To Be Held For Vicky Hamilton

The funeral of murdered Scottish schoolgirl Vicky Hamilton is due to take place later today.

The remains of the 15-year-old from Redding near Falkirk, who disappeared in 1991, were found earlier this month at a house in Margate in Kent.

The body of another missing girl, 18-year-old Dinah McNicol, was also found in the same house. Dinah, from Tillingham in Essex, also disappeared in 1991.

Scottish man Peter Tobin, 61, has been charged with Vicky's murder.

Vicky's funeral will take place at Redding Parish Church, near Falkirk, at midday on Friday. She will then be buried in her father Michael's plot at Grandstable cemetery in the town.

Second Body At Margate House Of Death
A second body has been discovered at the house in Margate, Kent, where the remains of Scottish teenager Vicky Hamilton were found earlier this week. Police described the find as a "significant development". Police had originally been searching the house for missing 18-year-old Dinah McNicol, who disappeared in 1991.

The search for bodies at a house in Margate, Kent, where the remains of two missing teenage girls were found last week is winding down. The body of 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton was found at the house last Monday and a body which is believed to be that of 18-year-old Dinah McNicol was found there last Friday.

Human remains discovered at a house in Kent are those of missing Scottish teenager Vicky Hamilton, it has been confirmed. Lothian and Borders Police confirmed that the body was that of the 15-year-old who disappeared from Bathgate in February 1991.

Second Man Sought After 'Cliff Incident'
A search is continuing after one man died and another disappeared following an incident on cliffs in north Wales. Coastguards were alerted shortly after two men were reported missing from cliffs around Cable Bay in Anglesey around 8.15pm on Wednesday.
