Children Held Over Fatal Stabbing
The death of a 14-year-old boy who was stabbed in Essex has led to a full-scale murder inquiry.
Youngster, Jack Large of Yeoman Way, Grange Hill in Chigwell, was stabbed in the back and head on the Limes Farm housing estate on Friday evening.
The boy was taken to the Royal London Hospital with serious injuries but died on Sunday evening with his parents at his bedside.
Two children both boys, aged 13 and 14, have been re-arrested on suspicion of murder.
The boys, both from Chigwell, are being held at separate police stations.
A police spokesman said patrols had also been stepped up in the Grange Hill area.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old woman has been found stabbed to death in a flat in south-east London.
The victim was found at an address in Redmans Court on London Lane, Bromley, early on Sunday morning.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and a post-mortem examination is expected to take place soon to determine the exact cause of death.
A man in his twenties has been arrested by police in east London and is being questioned over the incident.

Arrests Follow Edmonton Murder
Police investigating the murder of 15-year old Negus McLean in Edmonton have today made a further two arrests. A 14-year old boy, and a 16-year old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Police were called at 7.25pm on Sunday 10 April to reports of a stabbing in Westminster Road, north London.

A 16-year-old boy has died after being stabbed in east London. Two teenagers were found with knife wounds at about 21:50 on Monday evening in Spey Street, Poplar. One of the teenagers, who has been named as Ajmol Alom, later died. Relatives named the victim, however this is yet to be confirmed by Scotland Yard.
