Body Found In Hunt For Missing Woman
The police in South Wales Police have found the body of a woman in the Cefn Coed area.
The find is being linked to an investigation into the disappearance of a 48-year-old woman from Merthyr Tydfil
The body was discovered at about noon on Friday, but she has not been identified yet.
The missing woman is Sharon Crumb who was last seen at her Union Terrace home on 13 January. Police appealed for help in tracing her at the time and again just yesterday.
Mrs Crumb's beige VW Golf was found near where the body was discovered.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
Mrs Crumb's husband, Adrian issued an appeal a week ago for help in finding his wife, who he said had been depressed for two or three months.
She drove away from their home with no clothes and little money, said Mr Crumb, a welder, at the time.
He said he and daughter Lauren, 17, and son Gavin, 28, were very worried about her, and her disappearance was totally out of character.

A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

A body found off the coast of the Netherlands is believed to be Suzanne Hughes, Norfolk Police have said. Ms Hughes from Solihull was last seen at about 22:30 on 17 July in Norfolk, where she was holidaying with her husband, daughter and grandson.

The body of a woman has been found in a ditch about a mile from the home of missing Eileen Ayley. Police launched an urgent appeal on Wednesday to find the 70-year-old who has alzheimers. Eileen Ayley from The Marshes, Dengie, Southminster went for a local walk that evening but did not come home.

Man's body discovered after woman killed
Police investigating the murder of a woman have discovered the body of man in a Staffordshire woodland. The 30-year-old woman had been found with stab wounds in Burton, Staffordshire on Sunday evening and died in hospital a short time later. Police later found the body of a 44-year-old man was found in a wooded area of Branston Water Park.

Third Body Found In Arson Attack Mansion
A third body has been found in the burnt-out mansion of a millionaire businessman. Christopher Foster, 50, his wife Jill, 49, and their 15-year-old daughter Kirstie had not been seen since the arson attack last Tuesday at Osbaston House, a large country estate in Shropshire. West Mercia Police are treating the case as a murder inquiry.
