Suspicious Death Investigated In Midlothian
Scottish police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a house in Midlothian on Thursday night.
The body of the 42-year-old woman was found after police were called to a house in Bonnyrigg around 11pm on Thursday.
Lothian and Borders Police confirmed that the death is being treated as suspicious. and that an investigation has been launched.
A 64-year-old man is assisting police with their enquiries.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Police in Fife have appealed for information into an ongoing investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Glenrothes. Police discovered the body of Aleksandrs Sokolovs (29) inside a property on Tummel Road on Monday. The death of the Latvian-national is being treated as suspicious.

Police Seal Second House In Norwich Murder Investigation
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of an elderly woman's body at a house in Norwich. According to reports the woman is believed to have been sexually assaulted and subjected to a sustained assault. Police confirmed the body was discovered at a house in The Avenues at about 17:30 on Sunday.

A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a Hull hotel room. Police said they were called to the Ibis hotel on Osborne Street at 13:00 on Sunday, where they discovered the body of a woman. She is yet t be identified.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
